Engineering and Machining

The Double R Mudgee Branch in house team of machinists operating industry best line boring and machining plant and equipment ensure maximum efficiency in meeting your machining needs. From fabrication of replacement pins and bushes to the customised modification to get your operation back on track. The Double R team can fix or fabricate anything. 

Boiler Making and Fabrication

Double R Mudgee Branch includes an experienced team of boiler makers delivering quality work on and off site.
Engineering services provided at our 42 Sydney Road workshop are backed by extensive plant and equipment including, 250 ton Brake Press, Guillotine, Folders, Hydraulic Punch and Sheers, Radial Arm Drill, Power Bandsaw, Pipe benders and Spray booths in addition to extensive welding and cutting equipment. Investment in our extensive engineering equipment delivers quality projects to clients.
In house fabrication and engineering projects including line boring include Blade and Bucket overhauls, push arm repairs, Truck Body repairs, fabrication of handrails and other mine site compliance items, Equipment crack repairs to name but a few.
Our on site Boiler Making trucks are expertly fitted out for mine site service with Lincon Vantage welders, air compressors and all equipment to handle cutting, gouging and welding repairs to mobile and fixed plant. 

Structural Conditioning and Painting to Specification

Workshop blasting and Non Destructive Testing provide the reports on structural condition and ability to quote and complete any required crack repairs. Double R paint booth and personnel ensure the surface condition is restored to the required specification.

Mobile Line Boring

Supporting the Central West for on and off-site line boring needs. Our trucks are expertly set up for stand-alone operation including on board mine spec generators, Hoffman line boring equipment and hi speed independent robot ID welders. 

Liquid Nitrogen

Double R Mudgee Branch stocks and supplies liquid nitrogen. Liquid nitrogen is utilised in in-house line boring projects to ensure correct bearing interference fitment. In addition, Double R supply to the resources, agriculture and veterinary industries.
